The Big F#cking Book Launch!

One night, two authors, short films, and a book to take home.

Bridget Price and I wrote a book about how to be a decent guy. I still get it wrong about once a week, which either disqualifies me or is the whole point.

We're launching it on International Men's Day, which felt like a good idea right up until we told people.

Come find out. Bring someone who needs to hear it.

What happens

  • Short film screening, made with Oslo Community Theatre

  • Drinks, a room full of people, and a signed book to take home

  • Bridget on why she co-wrote this thing

The films

The short films were made with Oslo Community Theatre as part of SHAPE, a storytelling project I run at Kristiania University of Applied Sciences. The stories in them are stories from the book.

Directed by Mahyar Mirzazadeh. Produced by Sara K Raz. Filmed by Sondre Mæland at Tech Norway, Carlton Classe, and Jonathan Labarre . Shot in the green screen studio of the Kristiania University of Applied Sciences PedTek group.

Dr. Anthony Giannoumis is a speaker and professor on inclusive leadership, known for turning complex ideas into powerful stories. A former programmer turned opera singer turned entrepreneur, he brings insight, humor, and hard-earned perspective to the stage and page.

Bridget Price is a leadership practitioner and mother who proves that empathy and performance go hand in hand. She writes with curiosity, grounded in her commitment to building a more human and inclusive future.

Where the money goes

All ticket proceeds go to Oslo Community Theatre.

OCT is an English-speaking, volunteer-run theatre company in Oslo. Non-profit, founded in 2020, open to anyone who wants to make theatre whether or not they have ever set foot on a stage.

They also made the films you'll watch tonight, and I run the university project that funded them. So we're giving the money back to the people who made the evening. That felt like the right way round.

Can't make the night but still want the book?
